best case the sox get the number down to 5 on Sunday after the ESPN game. Worst case, they knock 1 or 2 off the magic number. That is all that matters at this point. Dice-K needs a rebound start for us tomorrow night. Go Sox.

The sox got their pink bats on with a dramatic 6-5 victory over the defensively hapless O’s yesterday afternoon. I woke up just in time to watch V-Tek get us within one run, then cheered on the home team as they scored twice more to overtake the O’s and plant themselves a solid 8 games [...]

That is a look of “what the heck just happened.” No control = no chance last night for the Dice-K-man. Fortunately the Red Sox bats took care of the rest, including our old pal mannybeingmanny, coming through with a couple bombs. We’ll take the win and move on.
