Mariano Rivera, the Yankees’ future hall-of-fame closer is hurting. I am surprised that nothing has been said about it yet, but he cannot locate pitches, has no cut on his dominating cutter and looks vincible. He barely scratched out his first save of the season on Saturday. He certainly doesn’t scare anyone coming out of the pen anymore.

Maybe it is a confidence thing, but something ain’t right. I am guessing bad back, which has plagued him more than once before. As a Sox fan, this is good news, but for Yankee fans, this is bad news and then some.
