With the Hot Stove going strong already in the MLB offseason, my beloved Sox just won the rights to negotiate a contract with Super-Stud Matsuzaka, arguably Japan’s best pitcher.

Add him and a few other free agent pitchers and the Sox rotation will look like this come Spring Training:

Matsuzaka

Zito

Schmidt (Jason)

Schilling

Papelbon

Beckett to the pen to become the new closer.

What I really like is that I drafted Matsuzaka a couple of years ago in my AL only fantasy league as a minor league pick. W00t
