Techcrunch just came out to let us know that CNET traffic is down at an alarming rate.

Arrington says:

But rapidly declining page views point to a less than exciting future for the company.

Ok, how about unique visitors. No one cares about page views. Have we looked at any redesigns or re-architecture that may be causing lower page view counts over time?

A site could be losing millions of pageviews in an apple v. oranges comparison but still be enjoying an increase in unique visitors.

Overall, this is a pretty incomplete post for an “A-lister” who should know better.
